Bino's on the hunt

And the prey are the Harrison twins. The twins are in Chicago this weekend and Bino was seen by Dave from Testudotimes on a plane headed from DC to Chicago this morning. Keep in mind that the twins were on campus this week for an impromptu visit. This is a lot of interaction for one week. On another note, is anyone else irritated that no national media services have covered the twins visit this week. If we were Kentucky the visit would have made headlines on espn and rivals. SMH

    Has to be good news that Bino's there. Means they reaffirmed Terps still are in the hunt, otherwise Senior would have told Bino and Turge to go after some other guys.

    And I'm not sure what ESPN would report anything about the visit unless they had their own source to go off of; they don't want to be giving InsideMDSports (a recruiting service rival) any publicity, and the rest is just twitter rumors.

    Go get 'em Uncle Bino!!!! As we spoke last night, its ABSURD that not ONE nationals service said even a blurb within another blurb about the Twins walk thru Comcast. I mean, they had theor GRANDPARENTS there with them, if that's not newsworthy then I don't know what is! More disturbing was how dismissal, condescending, and down right assinine comments Dave Telep made when asked a legitimate question. Everybody has a bad day/night/week/year but I enjoy Teleps work and expect more professionalism from him of all people.

      You better believe that if the twins pick MD I'm going on a full rant and coping espn, rivals, scout etc. as well an Kentucky blogs.

      I may have to make an IMS account to rub it in the Kentucky fans faces. They went nuts about it last night/today saying we had no chance.

      Derrick - I think Telep was trying to be smarmy and say "I actually have a life outside of recruiting." I do think he should have owned it, and gave us some attention. I'm beginning to think the media wants a lot of top guys to go to UK because it's easy to write a lot a stories on it.

      They didn't give nearly enough press to Bazz, Parker, and Bennett thumbing their noses at UK. I can't wait until our staff/school surprises the college bball world.

    The Harrison brothers would have a great college experience at Maryland. Playing with Shaq and a spirited team, close to family and 2 major cities in DC and Baltimore. Great campus and world class fan base.

    Would love to see the Harrison twins become part of Maryland basketball history

    Charlotte -- you got your wish, ESPN just ran a story on it in the rumors section. Essentially said MD has a shot and that they would be instantly better. How's that for some in depth analysis? LOL
