Damonte Dodd Update
In case you missed it, Damonte Dodd has stated on his twitter account that regardless of his year in prep school, he will remain committed to and attend MD. Dodd will be the first member of the 2013 class. Dave Telep recently wrote about Dodd stating that had the 2012 rankings not have closed, Dodd would have cracked the top 100 based on his recent play. The question now becomes how high is Dodd's ceiling. Top 50? I will create a poll for voting.

Thanks Charlotte. It's great to hear Damonte's committed to the program as Turge and the guys are to him. Of course, it won't stop Scott Drew from calling Damonte whenever he's permitted to...lol
ReplyDeleteor not permitted to...lol
DeleteHate to burst the bubble but he won't be entering the new TOP 100. I tweeted this question to Dave Telep and he responded - "Dave Telep @DaveTelep
ReplyDelete@4Score7YEARSAGO We won't be putting him in New 100. We'll treat him as a post grad.
I don't understand this. They didn't grade SC Jr. either because he was a post-grad. But they rank and grade people like Mitch McGary. What is the difference exactly?
DeleteDamonte Dodd can be as good as anyone on Maryland's team if not better. He has all the skills a great attitude and will fit in well. Not sure if everyone here remembers Joe Smith was a walk on at Maryland and he went #1 in the NBA draft!!!
