I think Ehsan is the bigger story. One could argue that at the time, Ehsan from UMD to VTech was a lateral move for him in terms of recent program successes. But for Ehsan to spurn VT to go to UAB, that tells you something about the program and/or coach.
Like DJ said above. I think Rob bouncing was a tell all. UAB, not exactly a big time move. I think its plain to see for all, Seth is a mid major coach at best. Times a tickin,,,,,,
I'm not so sure. I think he had some bad breaks last season, and his young squad will be better this year. That, and the 2010 contract extension until 2016, leaves AD Jim Weaver on the hot seat along with Seth.
I've previously brought this up too - while I'm not enamored of SG's personality, he can coach at ACC level - he's a 2 time ACC Coach of the year. See how many coaches have received that honor the past 10 years - not many. But some, like Hewitt, have been fired - things can change quickly in this business!
